i About XEC
The idea for an XJS club started back in 2004. Sometime after I bought my first XJS, and fell in love with the big Cat!
I was amazed and at the same
time sad that these beautiful machines are so underrated and often
disregarded. An XJS is a true culmination of British engineering. Grace and pace!! The V12 engine is an absolute beast with almost 300 bhp. So are the rest of the six cylinder engines in the range (3.6 & 4.0 Litre). The timeless sleek design of the XJS body is as contemporary and futuristic today as it was 30 years ago. It always gets the looks! The beautiful interiors, wood, leather and chrome are all refined and present a pure luxurious experience in the cat. All in all, these beautiful cars are timeless works of art. They deserve to be loved, appreciated and most of all celebrated. This is the purpose of our club. We are a non-profit organization. Our aim is to bring all XJS enthusiasts together, create an XJS community, and represent our XJS's in meetings and Classic car shows. We want the XJS to get the respect she deserves. We also want to offer advise and maintenance tips to XJS owners or buyers.
